Our Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is certified and guaranteed by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forest Policies. This regulation guarantees that the olives used to produce this EVOO were grown and harvested in Sicily, as well as produced and bottled on the island.  The olives also must produce a max 24% yield. The entire process, from when the olives begin to grow to the day the oil is bottled, is strictly monitored by IRVO (Istituto Regionale del Vino e dell’Olio), a certifying body controlled by the Ministry of Agriculture.
