PRODUCT DETAILS:

The HP® 62XL High Yield Original Ink Cartridge, Black (2 pk., 600 Page Yield) is perfect for everyday printing needs. High-yield means more projects between changes and with two cartridges, you can go twice as long without having to resupply. These black ink cartridges each yield about 600 pages of fast-drying black printer ink, meaning you have 1200 pages of HP quality printing ahead of you.

What Printers Are Compatible?

HP 62XL High Yield Original Ink Cartridge, Black is compatible with HP Officejet printer models 5740, 5742, 5745, and 8040 or HP Envy printer models 5643, 5660, 5665, 7640, and 7645.

What Makes This a Reliable Ink?

HP 62XL ink is designed to resist water and smearing for consistent, standout results and a better value for frequent printing. Also designed to resist fading, HP has developed these inks to last up to 50 times longer than other typical refilled inks, resist fading for up to 60 years and produce high-quality images that are color-accurate. Each printhead can have several hundred to several thousand microscopic ink nozzles in use to shoot ink onto paper at up to 31 mph and make millions of different colors with very little margin for error. HP states that their Original HP inks have a less than 1% failure rate, while other refill inks have around a 37% failure rate.

Are They Recyclable?

Yes, you can recycle the HP 62XL High Yield Original Ink Cartridge, Black. HP's recycling program, HP Planet Partners, allows you to easily recycle your Original HP ink cartridges for free. Since 1991, customers have returned more than 500 million HP cartridges for recycling. Many of those materials get put to use again through HP's "closed loop" recycling process, using returned cartridges as raw material to produce new Original HP ink and LaserJet cartridges. Offering several convenient return options, HP makes it easy to recycle HP supplies. Drop off cartridges at any HP Authorized Retail Collection Location or print out a free shipping label online.
